lyrics
Try to build this wall so high,
Contributors triple in it's size,
A subconscious state planted in a mind,
Libelous babel in which I cry,
Dream of this face and all knowing eyes,
Knowledge and wisdom seem to lead to my demise,
Take my hand so I can bear the silence,
One million points of light cannot outshine the silence,
Voices come so sweet and violent in the silence,
And yet I still stand alone in the silence-
Purposeful venture with a good intent,
In which man's nature has been bent,
Luscious lips that I once kissed,
Have distorted this view now a miss,
I hear the serpent slowly hiss,
The fruit so sweet now I must taste,
An empty abyss of guilt and lies,
Why must I sport this rare disguise?
Take my hand so I can bear the silence,
One million points of light cannot outshine the silence,
Voices come so sweet and violent in the silence,
And yet I still stand alone in the silence-
I begin to run quickly 'cause I must,
Reflect on the things that I have done,
I begin to sweat, it's pouring in my eyes,
Quickly I object to this burning of my sight,
Now that I am blind I catch my breathe,
My muscles tense from this wall I climb,
Now all I hear is the silence-
Take my hand so I can bear the silence,
One million points of light cannot outshine the silence,
Voices come so sweet and violent in the silence,
And yet I still stand alone in the silence-
Take my hand... (4x's)

...lesser than God (Origins),
released March 29, 2016
...lesser than God technically, really should have been ...less than God or ...lesser than our God, but I had my own philosophy on what it should mean at the time. The group, at the time of these recordings, consisted of Chris Davis on vocals/lyrics, Greg McNeely on guitar, Chris Moyle on bass guitar and Chad Meinders on drums. It was produced and engineered by Steve Palmer and Mike Whitaker at Luky 7 Studios. Violent Mood Swings, The Seed, The Mirror and Hang Your Wings were recorded on March 22 1998. It was the next morning after a show at the Firehouse in the vicinity of SLU downtown. Anorexic Life was recorded later that year there. It was never released, but the first four were on our self-titled debut in tape format. Cover art by Chris Davis. Cyber Girl, Plaster Of Paris, No Room For Alice, Conscience, Tomorrow's Sun & more were performed live at the Mud Room on Hampton Ave. in 1996 I think. This is the audio from an old camcorder. Jason Harding on drums and Kurt Pruno on bass w/ Greg on guitar & Chris Davis on vocals.
