lyrics
This is the seed, Callous traits that hold a souls desire, waiting for a chance to rise up from the fire, comfortably numb of freeing anxiety, swallow the seed to plant it deep inside of me, The seed, Temple of the defense mechanical society, starting from the core and sprouts just like a tree, with roots so deep and branches that reach to the sky, questions are the leaves behind the mind's eye, You recognize that the air is all too thick up here, you need a breathing apparatus and plugs to go in your ears, must try to find a way to get the things I need, friends slowly lose respect to find the seed inside of me, (Chorus) Strong foundation takes it's toll and keeps the eye sewn shut, I put a handle on my shovel to dig the roots up from it's rut, leave the burden in the grave, cover it up and walk away, seize the day and every moment and let your haven take you away, (Chorus)

...lesser than God (Origins),
released March 29, 2016
...lesser than God technically, really should have been ...less than God or ...lesser than our God, but I had my own philosophy on what it should mean at the time. The group, at the time of these recordings, consisted of Chris Davis on vocals/lyrics, Greg McNeely on guitar, Chris Moyle on bass guitar and Chad Meinders on drums. It was produced and engineered by Steve Palmer and Mike Whitaker at Luky 7 Studios. Violent Mood Swings, The Seed, The Mirror and Hang Your Wings were recorded on March 22 1998. It was the next morning after a show at the Firehouse in the vicinity of SLU downtown. Anorexic Life was recorded later that year there. It was never released, but the first four were on our self-titled debut in tape format. Cover art by Chris Davis. Cyber Girl, Plaster Of Paris, No Room For Alice, Conscience, Tomorrow's Sun & more were performed live at the Mud Room on Hampton Ave. in 1996 I think. This is the audio from an old camcorder. Jason Harding on drums and Kurt Pruno on bass w/ Greg on guitar & Chris Davis on vocals.
