lyrics
Are you afraid of dying, fear not my friend, to die is to live, oh no, oh yes, the one thing I will never understand, or grasp, Have you ever wanted to fly? You just hang up your wings and say it's time to die, you are the temptress, you are my shadow, you follow me where I go, you go, I can't seem to shake you now, it's just not me anymore, Death is like the blink of an eye, angel of death comes in the night from the cold, black sky, the moon will turn to blood, some the day, day is gone, some say the day will never come, it comes, we need a revolution now, I think we've been there before, I spread my blackened wings to cover me, ask me again at judgement, fear not my friend to die is to live,
Have you ever wanted to fly? You just hang up your wings and say it's time to die, you are the temptress, you are my shadow, you follow me where I go, you go, I can't seem to shake you now, it's just not me anymore, oh, yeah, You just hang your wings and say, it's my turn to fly, I spread my blackened wings to cover me, ask me again at judgement, fear not my friend, to die is live, hang your wings...

...lesser than God (Origins),
released March 29, 2016
...lesser than God technically, really should have been ...less than God or ...lesser than our God, but I had my own philosophy on what it should mean at the time. The group, at the time of these recordings, consisted of Chris Davis on vocals/lyrics, Greg McNeely on guitar, Chris Moyle on bass guitar and Chad Meinders on drums. It was produced and engineered by Steve Palmer and Mike Whitaker at Luky 7 Studios. Violent Mood Swings, The Seed, The Mirror and Hang Your Wings were recorded on March 22 1998. It was the next morning after a show at the Firehouse in the vicinity of SLU downtown. Anorexic Life was recorded later that year there. It was never released, but the first four were on our self-titled debut in tape format. Cover art by Chris Davis. Cyber Girl, Plaster Of Paris, No Room For Alice, Conscience, Tomorrow's Sun & more were performed live at the Mud Room on Hampton Ave. in 1996 I think. This is the audio from an old camcorder. Jason Harding on drums and Kurt Pruno on bass w/ Greg on guitar & Chris Davis on vocals.
