lyrics
Bitter wind begins to blow, frost on it's branches way him down in the cold, devils are dancing in his eyes, behold he's laughing and I'm scared for my life, Behold he is laughing at my anorexic life, the leaves they are blowing, growing in size, staring the gremlin right in the eyes, I feel that there's no end in sight, this hunger is burning inside, I feel that there's no end in sight, I'm starved from my anorexic life, So much to give, but little to offer, visions of love and visions of laughter, confront the fears and hopes of yesteryear, can't shake this feeling that my demise is near, (Chorus) Behold the gremlin, the gremlin is laughing at my anorexic life, the leaves they are blowing, growing in size, staring the gremlin right in the eyes, behold he is laughing I'm scared for my life, for he knows every time, that I try and fail, every time I've tried and failed, the gremlin is laughing at my anorexic life once again...

...lesser than God (Origins),
released March 29, 2016
...lesser than God technically, really should have been ...less than God or ...lesser than our God, but I had my own philosophy on what it should mean at the time. The group, at the time of these recordings, consisted of Chris Davis on vocals/lyrics, Greg McNeely on guitar, Chris Moyle on bass guitar and Chad Meinders on drums. It was produced and engineered by Steve Palmer and Mike Whitaker at Luky 7 Studios. Violent Mood Swings, The Seed, The Mirror and Hang Your Wings were recorded on March 22 1998. It was the next morning after a show at the Firehouse in the vicinity of SLU downtown. Anorexic Life was recorded later that year there. It was never released, but the first four were on our self-titled debut in tape format. Cover art by Chris Davis. Cyber Girl, Plaster Of Paris, No Room For Alice, Conscience, Tomorrow's Sun & more were performed live at the Mud Room on Hampton Ave. in 1996 I think. This is the audio from an old camcorder. Jason Harding on drums and Kurt Pruno on bass w/ Greg on guitar & Chris Davis on vocals.
